July 28, final goodbyes, and we gone!
Because of how late we were up last night, and because of one of the few strong morning rainshowers we have had since we have been here, there was no 5K race this morning! Yeah!
Some of the Ticos came in the morning to wash our feet and pray with us as a final gesture of service and Christian fellowship and commitment...
But an extra day was added to our trip, as a delay in our flight from San Jose caused us to miss our Charlotte, NC flight to O'Hare. So US Airways put us up at a Wingate Inn near the airport where we enjoyed pizza, watching a movie together, and then having breakfast at Shoney's before flying home July 29, one day late!
