Costa Rica Mission, 2005
July 25, Monday, Free Day, Ciudad de Dios Musical/Drama Command Performance for JFAN
Not only is this a free day for JFAN, it is also a national holiday, in celebration of the addition of the province of Guanacaste to the nation of Costa Rica.
In the evening, some of the dramatic artists from Ciudad de Dios invited JFAN to a performance of a musical they wrote. It was a wonderful, moving, entertaining spectacle!

We wished them well and had a group prayer session, asking for God's blessings in their lives and in their travel... |

On their free day the Pahls were invited to lunch by Irmaris, a school teacher they had met at the September 15 school...Like a true school teacher part of the meal Irmaris had planned included a demonstration by her mother of how to make tacos...

There was a special section of the church seating roped off for JFAN to view the dramatic production... |
The music drama performed for us was a fun, creative spectacle firing on many musical cylinders |
Our friends Rodrigo and Laura, engaged to be married, were the stars of this production, about a girl who sees her life flash before her eyes after she has had an accident which leads to her death... |

Who is the most beautiful? |
The production used the large projected LCD screens in conjunction with the live acting on the stage for a very stimulating visual effect. |

Our heroine ends up in Heaven! |
These photos did not come out well because of the low stage lighting, but they picture the appeal of Esteban after the production and the large number of people that came forward to receive Christ at his appeal...
