Costa Rica Mission, 2005
July 13, Wednesday, Childrens' Hospital visit, skating party, cell groups.
Half our group ministered to a children's hospital in San Jose, and in the
evening we split up, one group going to cell groups, and the other group to
participate in a skating party at the church, and also to perform dramas
there...(the church building is big, they put up rails to set up a full size
roller skating rink!)
Check out Bill Merrick's photography below...

We continue to run every morning to start the day... |

Mr. Pahl brought his LCD projector to be able to help his CLEP students.
This is a US History 2 class: Robert, David, Caleb, and Josh.
Classes take place every morning. Students are studying for
biology, US History, Western Civ, History/Social Sciences and College
Math CLEP exams. We are planning on taking these here in Costa
Rica. Students can receive college credit for doing well on the
CLEP exams. |

This is Bill Merrick, the professional photographer who is with us now.
He found this duck limping...it had a fish hook caught in the webbing of
its foot. Bill held the bird while a park employee retrieved some
pliers to pull it out. Bill said the bird just relaxed in his arms
while he held it, as if it was thanking him. The bird seemed to be
back to normal the moment the hook was taken out.
You can check out some of Bill's amazing photography at:
Here are links to two pages on our website that have some of Bill's
